Hi All, I just started a cohort project to build a virtual version of my sophomore chemistry class using Twitter as one of the support tools, but like many of you who posted, I am unfamiliar with the technology. I also fear our district has it bl...

What do you want to get out of Teachers 2.0?
I want to meet other people who are interested in doing collaborative research with me (two heads are better than one--always). I want to learn more about what K-12 people are doing and how I can work with teachers. Since I teach people to become teachers, I can benefit from the insights of practicing teachers on how I can better prepare my student teachers for their future roles. I also want to learn from other people -- these netwroks often link you to the best "people" resources.

Want to work on a project?

Well, once again I volunteered myself to work on a huge digtial literacy project: http://people.cohums.ohio-state.edu/selfe2/daln/contents.html. I decided that I would help organize the event at Kent State and now I have found myself on this committee to plan our event.

This semester I am using ning to teach my online instructional technology course for ed majors. We have built a wiki e-portfolio to put all of our technology projects into the wiki. So my goal for this weekend is to get a better photo--i was using my Kent photo, but I may have to revert to that until I get a better pix.

Enough said about that nonsense.

Right now I'm basically working on several projects. I have to get my courses ready for Fall early--becau

We (my IT admin ) and I went to present at a DE conference and this guy was selling thee really funny t-shirts. The shirt shows an IT-type person with his (it's a stick figure type drawing) with his hair on fire -- while other stick people look on--it's a long story and inside joke...but everytime we try to explain technology to certain people on the campus--we get the same reaction.
