With your interest in Education Technology and online Collaboration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.

- Bad news for you, I am an ex-teacher. I am interested in providing similar services, but about exchanging exercise content rather than lesson plans. Nicely complement, isn't it.
Would you be interested in sharing some resources, like this catalogue of educational resources (written in rails, work in progress).
There are some links on lesson design, though not much yet encoded in the online catalogue. Got some more resources on my wiki. I am in the process of sorting out all that. You are welcome to try and influence the process if you feel like it.
