With your interest in Education Technology and online Collaboration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
Oh, then there is that other resource, that a friend of mine maintains on my website iberry.com. Academic Porthole. Primary target = Higher Education. Proposes an "annotated listings of publicly available courseware (lecture notes and videos, slides, tutorial material, exam questions, software, demonstrations) from the universities and colleges of the world."
Bad news for you, I am an ex-teacher. I am interested in providing similar services, but about exchanging exercise content rather than lesson plans. Nicely complement, isn't it.
There are some links on lesson design, though not much yet encoded in the online catalogue. Got some more resources on my wiki. I am in the process of sorting out all that. You are welcome to try and influence the process if you feel like it.

What do you want to get out of Teachers 2.0?
I am interested in expanding my teacher touchpoints, beyond my wife and her colleagues. I hope that this network will help my team and I to keep our finger on the pulse of what teachers are talking about.
